AC Editing provides proofreading and copy-editing services for students and academics for everything from professional documents to completed monographs. Our editors have experience editing and peer-reviewing for academic journals, and publishing their own academic work.

 

Proofreading

Our proofreading service offers corrections to spelling, grammar, punctuation, and referencing.

For proofreading we charge:

£29 – up to 2000 words

£49 – up to 3000 words

£99 – up to 6000 words

£199 – up to 12,000 words

£299 – up to 30,000 words

£499 – up to 60,000 words

£999 – up to 100,000 words

For longer manuscripts, our rate per additional word is £0.010

 

Copy- editing

Our copy-editing service includes proofreading (as above) and also offers assistance with:

• overall structure
• sentence structure and flow
• clarity of expression
• tone

For copy-editing, we charge:

£49 – up to 2000 words

£79 – up to 3000 words

£149 – up to 6000 words

£249 – up to 12,000 words

£399 – up to 30,000 words

£799 – up to 60,000 words

£1299 – up to 100,000 words

For longer manuscripts, our rate per additional word is £0.015

 

Time scales

For manuscripts up to 30,000 words, please allow up to 4 working days (Monday-Friday).

For manuscripts up to 100,000 words, please allow up to 10 working days (Monday-Friday).
